The Government of Sindh announced a holiday in the province on Monday, on the festive occasion of Holi for the Hindu community. The government of Sindh issued a notification that read,’ On 13th November the festival of Holi will be observed as a holiday for the Hindu community’.
The Hindu community will celebrate Holi on 13th of November with all the festivities and enthusiasm. According to the notification the community will have a holiday on the festival of colors and lights for all the local councils, auto and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and administrations that come under the government of Sindh. A public holiday was announced by the government earlier for 9th November on Iqbal Day by the government. The day will be a public holiday in Sindh and the notification was issued for all the departments under Sindh Government.
