The former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been currently jailed and serving a prison sentence. The lawyer of the ex-PM, Aftab Bajwa said in a press conference earlier that Imran Khan is being slowly poisoned by the ISI. He also claimed that they are not being given any documents and according to the court, it is a secret and private matter.
Imran Khan has been sentenced to prison for three years for selling state gifts in the Toshakhana case. He has also been disqualified for 5 years from politics. His three-year sentence was later suspended by Islamabad High Court but for the cipher case, he still stays in judicial lockup that came up after he claimed to own a letter from a foreign nation looking for removal of his power. Imran Khan alleged the involvement of the United States in the matter, claiming that his removal would benefit Pakistan.
