Rachel Corrie lost her life to an Israeli bulldozer

On Marchr 16, 2003, Rachel Corrie, 23, the American college student lost her life crushed by an Israeli-owned bulldozer. She was shooting the demonstration of her protest against the campaign for the condemnation. The condemnation, about 10,000 Palestinian houses destroyed.

Being unable to overcome the tragedy of their daughter’s untimely death, Corrie’s father and mother decided to take their case to the Israeli civil court. He asserted instead that the Israeli soldier behind the wheel had intentionally killed his daughter or had no concern about the ethical issues. In 2012, Hafia court overthrew the suit for asserting that Corrie was in the line of fire thus the the soldier did not see her.

Rachel published letters from her Gaza residency to her relatives in which she documented they agony of the Palestinians. Reading all those academic literature, attending conferences, watching movies, and being informed by word of mouth can’t prepare you for what is actually going on here, the author insisted. One can’t even attempt to comprehend the sight, except someone has seen it in person.
