Criticism on Barzakh for promoting LGBTQ+
This TV series is now trending in Pakistan. people appreciate their performance but are also criticized for some controversial content. The main bone of contention arose due to LGBTQ+. Romantic and intimate scenes between the same genders. However, these controversial scenes are performed between the main male character Fawad Khan and another male character Franco Giusti as Lorenzo.
The public raised concerns that this Tv series is promoting LGBTQ+ which is strictly prohibited in Islam and considered taboo in Pakistani society. The creators of Barzakh are imposing foreign cultural influences the Cultural norms in Pakistan society.
